What We Do

The British Columbia Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners (BCAOMP)’s main responsibilities include:

  • Developing standards of admission to the manual osteopathy profession in British Columbia (Canada);
  • Establishing guidelines and standards for BCAOMP members’ conduct and practice;
  • Developing programs to help BC osteopathic manual practitioners maintain and improve their knowledge and skills;
  • Investigating complaints and reports;
  • Disciplining members who have committed acts of professional misconduct or who are incompetent or incapacitated.

Objective

The British Columbia Association of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners has objective to supervise the practice of the manual osteopathy profession and to govern BCAOMP members in accordance with its policies and codes of ethic.
